Here we see what a sinister cyberneticist’s den looks like; most things around the house have chrome spikes. I should also point out the portrait above the mantle of Dottore’s Sixteenth Century ancestor of the same name; I don’t know why he wore a Batman-like upper-face mask, but the fact is that he did. If you’re not aware, this comic takes its inspiration from the Commedia dell’Arte, a sort of improv comedy thing popular in Europe between, more or less, the Fifteenth and Nineteenth Centuries. You can learn more about it at your local library Wikipedia. If, on the other hand, you already know the Commedia, you can probably tell where all this is heading.
